There are many definitions to define what a gamer is. I’ve heard quite a few, and have agreed with most of them. Just like with most factors in life gamers are available in different levels and stages, habits and tendencies. This can be a philosophical question in my opinion, no appropriate or wrong answer, usually just about every answer I hear has some logic to it. Some believe that even in their spare time play, that they are gamers, I concur.
You’ve owned some type of video game console given that the beginning in the Atari days. Your a lock for becoming a gamer. The those who would be the 1st ones when the stores opens to acquire the most recent game to come out, or perhaps far better, camp out overnight to acquire what they want. Gamer! Beating a game more than once, getting factors you missed the prior time around, makes you a gamer. Many people play sports games, some just play Madden, they also are gamers.
I’ve heard people who play the Xbox 360 and PS3 refer for the Wii as a toy and whoever plays it as their principal console, is just not a gamer. I’d need to disagree that. I personally believe that the PS3 is superior than the Wii all round. I also think that Nintendo located a winner using the Wii, ran with it, and still have but to slow down. I just believe Nintendo has been smarter as a company for the final couple of years. I’ve also heard Computer gamers refer to all gaming consoles as toys, absolutely everyone has opinion ideal?
Last but not least we’ve the “No Lifers”. They live to play video games, every single day of every year. They may be the gladiators of video games, the hardcore, they pretty a lot consist of every single definition of a gamer combined into one, crazy.
In my opinion what defines a gamer depends on who you ask. Some are far more hardcore, other individuals are casual, some play for perfection, some play a specific niche of game, other individuals bleed video games. There are countless other definitions and I quite a lot agree with them all. For those who play enough video games to think about oneself a gamer regardless of what your skill level, or time invested, or anything else, who am I to say any various, you happen to be a gamer.
